My children, my neighbor's children (because we carpool)and I were outside the rural church which is our voting station at 6:55 AM this morning. And guess what. There was a line! I have lived here for 10 years and have never EVER had to wait in line to vote.
Then I had to drive to town to run some errands and I saw lines at every single polling station I passed. The cars were overflowing the parking lots into the street. I've never seen anything like this before and it thrills me.
Even if these folks are not voting for Barack Obama, who is a rock star here at Nestlewood, at least they care enough to vote.

O'Barack Obama (as the kids call him) is a bit of a rock star, here as well. I know I won't sleep tonight until the election is called.
I got to my polling place 2 minutes after it opened and there were 74 people ahead of me! Woo Hoo!!
