It seems my girlfriend Cameron had a TIA yesterday. She will have an MRI on Monday, so we will hopefully know more then.
She called me last night and wasn't even making sense. She sounded as though she were on drugs, but she doesn't do drugs, so I knew that wasn't the problem. It's really a wonder she had the presence of mind to call me. While we were on the phone, I asked her for her address so that I could call 911 and she didn't even know what it was. Drew and I met her at the hospital, worried sick.
Tests were run at the ER and she was admitted to the hospital. The thing is, she is only 37 and is in really good health. She's a black belt in Tung Soo Do for crying out loud! She doesn't have high blood pressure or anything like that, but she is under a tremendous amount of stress. She's a single mom whose ex husband is a drug addict who doesn't pay child support, and she is about 2 weeks away from graduating with her RN degree.
