This gorgeous pewter Celtic knot barrette came in the mail for me from Sweet Bruhver. Isn't it lovely in my naturally curly hair? Also, this past Saturday evening my parents came by with my birthday present. It's a new CD player that has a port for my iPod and it rocks! At this very moment it's playing The Cranberries.
My birthday is the 8th, and it is no secret that my birthday is my very favorite day of the year because it is all about ME, which, naturally, is exactly the way I think the world should spin.
My best girlfriends informed me that I was having a birthday party this Friday night. It could either be at one of their houses or at mine, but a party there would be. So I chose Nestlewood as the venue. If I can wheedle the chicken lasagna recipe out of a friend of mine, that will be the main course. There will also be my very own white trash favorite, cheese ball with Chickin-in-a-Biskit crackers. The wine will flow freely, and I'm going to borrow my mom's extensive karaoke collection. So, you are all invited. Sure, I realize that not everyone has the luxury of driving 1000s of miles for a birthday party, but if you are in the neighborhood, come on over.

The barrette is gorgeous!!! And I went back and reread the post and said "naturally curly hair" just like the Peanuts character does. You are so funny! I have two Cranberries CDs myself, and am very fond of them. I hope your party tops the one from last year (could it possibly?). Love and love to you and yours...
I love all things Celtic, the Cranberries, and cheese balls! If I didn't have to study this weekend (and if I didn't live 1000s of miles away) I would be there!
